Stella Palace, Crete

Stella Palace - a 5* all-inclusive luxury resort in Crete

In the heart of the Mediterranean lies the enchanting island of Crete, where history, culture, and natural beauty converge to create an unforgettable experience. During our visit in June 23, my husband and I had the pleasure of discovering the captivating Stella Palace, a resort that seamlessly blends luxury and tranquility.  It’s right next door to the instagrammable ’Stella Island’, which I got the priviledge to visit during my stay.

First Impressions:

As we entered the Stella Palace, the warm Cretan hospitality embraced us, setting the tone for an idyllic getaway. The grandeur of the resort struck us immediately, with its elegant architecture and lush surroundings. The staff's welcoming smiles made us feel right at home. As we were late in arriving, a buffet of Greek dishes were waiting in our room on arrival.

Accommodation:

Our stay at Stella Palace was nothing short of indulgent. The spacious and meticulously designed rooms provided a perfect sanctuary. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities showcased the resort's commitment to offering a luxurious experience.

Food & Drink:

One of the highlights of our stay was the gastronomic journey within the resort. The diverse dining options catered to every palate, offering a fusion of local and international cuisine. From traditional Greek dishes, Italian cuisine to Mexican delights, each meal was a celebration of flavors that left us craving more.  There are 6 beautiful restaurants on-site with 7 bars, some of which you need to book in advance.

The Resort:

The resort is quite large with a number of swimming pools to choose to laze around by.  The loungers are 5* - sturdy wooden loungers with leather foam mattresses and head rests.  Various cabanas are scattered around to choose from if you wish to lounge in the shade.  There is a football pitch, tennis courts, mini golf , gym, games arcade and the Avra Spa where you can access the jacuzzi, steam room and indoor pool if you want to escape.  The Spa also offers a number of treatments.

Waterpark:

The Stella Palace Aqua Park was a playground of joy and excitement. There are plenty to do to keep the family occupied, with unlimited use of the Aqua Park. You can guarantee endless fun for guests of all ages.

There is a small beach is infront of the resort, however it’s not the best beach, but it has sand and sea!

Memorable Sunsets:

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Stella Palace transformed into a haven of tranquility. Watching the sunset from the resort's panoramic vantage points was a daily ritual. The hues of orange, pink, and gold painted the sky, creating a magical backdrop for our evenings.  There is also a hole in a rock down by the church at the beach which makes an excellent place to take sunset pictures with a difference!

Our stay at Stella Palace in Crete was a harmonious blend of luxury and relaxation. Would we go back?  Yes, in a heartbeat!
